Tax Advisor

This is a full-time on-site position with benefits listed below. We are looking for tax professional to advise clients with tax planning and filing of tax returns. The ideal candidate should be respectful to all, integrity is a must and knowledge is the expectation. Speiker & Company, Ltd is a growing, family-owned business that serves our community by helping individuals and small businesses manage risk to succeed. While longer hours are expected during the filing season, the off-season hours are flexible.  Compensation based on experience and accomplishments.

Qualifications:

Enrolled Agent
3+ years of industry experience working with taxpayers
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Attention to details for increased accuracy
Independent worker who also appreciates team work
Comfortable with changing technology

Responsibilities:

Interview clients (in person, phone, or video) to gather information and prepare tax return
Advise clients on tax strategies
Assist co-workers as needed
Stay current with continuing education
